Project: Porch Update with Recycled Composite Decking
A low maintenance solution for front porch stairs was what the clients needed. Choicedek® from Weyerhaeuser was utilized as a splinter free, rot resistant material to clad the treads, risers, and sides. A cedar railing was designed to tie in with the Victorian architecture. The railing will be painted by the clients to tie in the existing colors.
Project: Utility Room Conversion
Description: This 22 x 11 ft room was large enough to convert a storage room into an office and utility closet housing the hot water-heater, washer, and dryer. The three by-pass doors allow easy access to all three utilities. On the opposite side of the room louvered doors have been replaced with modern flat profile door. The doors and window have been trimmed out with molding. The ceiling was drywalled and the some the plumbing was boxed in. The laminate floor completes the room by covering a cold concrete floor.
